Cozy Powell Blue Plaque To Be Unveiled In Cirencester

20 déc. 2015 — Queen guitarist Brian May will unveil a Blue Plaque in honour of the late great Cozy Powell.
The event is going to be held on the 7th of January 2016 at the Corn Hall, Market Place, Cirencester, at 2.30 p.m..
The ceremony of the unveiling will be open to the public but then followed by a civic reception, invites only.
Many rock stars who worked with Cozy have been invited, along with very close friends.
Who will attend are Neil Murray, Don Airey, Paul Raymond, Carl Palmer, Tony Iommi, Suzi Quatro, Bernie Marsden, Russell Gilbrook, Tony Martin, Michael Casswell, Mike Terrana, Bob Richards, Frank Aiello, James Johnson, John Marter, Pete Prescott, Trevor Short, Frederick Lea, John Burgess, Joe Geesin, Andrew Fawn, Tatsuya Nakamura.
It will also be possible for fans to see some memorabilia brought there for the occasion and listen to tributes by local musicians.
Hopefully the event will be filmed and included in a documentary now under production, Dance With The Devil, The Cozy Powell Story.
